Most of the time with women in crime, we see non-violent crimes. It's been a recent phenomenon within the last few decades that violent crimes from women are on the rise. In Britain, violent crimes have risen 80 per-cent in the past decade alone. With this increase we see participants in crime like Wanda Barzee, an accomplice to the heinous crimes and human violations that were put upon Elizabeth Smart. But now Barzee seems like a new person, not looking as disheveled as she did when she was found in 2002, and she's actually testifying against her husband for the violent acts against teenager Elizabeth Smart.
